One question then...
Which is bigger? The old TRX tyre or the new BBS RC 7 x 16 ?
Counting in radius/circumference?
If I get new tyres for my Prestige I'd like them to have a bigger radius / circumference than my current 195/70 R 14 (or is it 195/65 R 14??!! I can't remember!!).
The tyres I was offered are 205/50/16 which when I calculate the circumference seem smaller than the 14 inch wheels/tyres I currently have. Smaller tyres mean more petrol, and the Prestige is greedy enough already I think!!

I think the outer diameter is pretty much the same with 205/55 R16 as with 190/65 R390. 205/50 R16 is too small in my opinion.Pipo a écrit :One question then...

55 % of 205 (205/55 R16) is not too far from 65 % of 190 (190/65 R390). The difference in wheel diameter compared to the TRX R390 is only 0,5" - hence the comfort is not changed much. Actually I would say that it is improved - due to softer rubber and more rounded "shoulder". Noice levels are low as before (the 30 year old Michelin TRX design isn't exactly noiceless, remember...)diravinz a écrit :And what about comfort ?
