I don't expect you to understand anything but the picture and headline of this invitation, but here goes:

The Norwegian CX Club invites all fellow CX drivers to join our little daytrip june 25th - starting and ending in the old town in Oslo. So if you know any French enthousiasts in the area - please pass this invitation on to them... I spotted a CX on French plates covered with comersials/stickers yesterday here in Oslo (!).

Je ne pense pas que vous comprendrez autre chose que la photo et le titre, mais voici la traduction:
Le CX Club Norvégien invite tous les conducteurs de CX à rejoindre notre virée du 25 Juin - Commençant et finissant dans la vieille ville d'Oslo. Donc si vous connaissez des fans Français dans le secteur - veuillez leur passer cette invitation... J'ai vu une CX en plaques françaises recouvertes par des autocollants à Oslo hier (!).

Som dere sikkert har sett, så står det CX-cruising en dag i juni i kalenderen. Norsk CX Klubb inviterer herved til sveving i østlandsk landskap. Kjøreruten kan bli justert noe, endelig rutebeskrivelse deles ut ved oppmøte på annonsert sted, Oslo Ladegård - så og si midt i middelalderparken.

Did the French have yellow fog lamps? I'm picking up a pair of new (unused) yellow cibie fog lamps tomorrow... Complete with chrome frame.

yes they did. Mine has such foglamps, Cibié or Marchal. But on german GTI's for example, glasses are white.

The licence plate with only one letter 'W' means the car is registered by either a garage either the manufacturer.

It looks like this photos was a snapshot made by Citroën for advertising puposes.

In France, white headlight were accepted on April 1rst 1993. Before, only yellow beams were allowed.

The europeen regulations accept the 2 collors, provided you are not mixing them: you can't have 1 yellow low beam and one white low beam.
